I love sushi… especially Makis. Although I consider Makis as “glorified suman”. So here’s my first attempt to bring out the iron chef in me. Behold my own version of the famous Maki.
Ingredients:
- Avocado Sticks
- Cucumber sticks
- Hotdog sticks (damn brother fried all my crab sticks for breakfast)
- Wasabi
- Waykurat ( a new version of the Pinakurat – seasoned vinegar)
- Japanese Rice
- Toasted Nori Seaweed
- Silver Swan soy sauce (damn brother again stole my Kikoman for his baon)
First attempt:
Second attempt. I hope you folks see the tremendous improvement – from exotic to fantastic.
Third attempt. Whoho!!! Here you’ll see the Iron Chef in me. Notice the transformation from fantastic to sumptuous. I never knew I had it in me. Bwahahahahahaha!!!
I tried these bits of heaven with our weredog and he just staggered on the first bite. Lucky dog if you ask me… probably the only dog in the universe to ever taste the ultimate in Japanese cuisine.
Oh I forgot to tell you my dear reader that I did all this with my eyes closed… like that blind Japanese samurai we frequently see on movies.
